DEPRESSION
Research indicates that there are numerous potential causes of depression, including irregular mood regulation by the brain, genetic factors, personality traits, and stressful life events. It is widely believed that there is no single cause of depression—such as the absence of a "happy gene." Instead, multiple factors often interact to contribute to its onset. Each individual's causes and triggers can vary significantly.
Individuals living with depression often experience a persistent sense of fatigue, diminished motivation, and a loss of hope. This can significantly impact their daily lives, routines, and behaviors. Unfortunately, these changes can exacerbate their depression, making it harder for them to improve.
Recovery from the grips of depression can seem overwhelming, but with the right support, it is fully achievable. At BMFTI, we provide a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to treating depression. We recognize that overcoming this challenge involves more than just “getting over it,” depression is often influenced by various genetic and environmental factors, as well as chronic illnesses and anxiety disorders
